NVIDIA just released their latest interactive demo of AI rendered landscape, using city driving scenes and analysis to generate interactive events. Though this is clearly a carefully controlled demo showing best case conditions (ex: what would happen should the human driver divert towards an obstacle?), it’s astonishing to see the level of progress in this field that is represented here.
The ending of the video is especially interesting, showing one of the developers mocked up dancing to PSY’s Gangham Style. Although this is being demo’ed in early stages, This raises some real questions about video authenticity in the future, and the capabilities around content development, and also nefarious uses of such technology.
